Plans & billing

Plans & seats: and what happens when the plan is full

Every plan is priced by exactly one number: seats — the people who can use the assistant. Nothing else about the product is metered, and nothing dramatic happens when the plan fills up: everyone keeps working, and adding one more person simply asks for a bigger plan first.

The one thing a plan counts

SeatsA seat is one person with an account on your assistant: someone who can sign in and ask, on the web or linked in a chat channel (Teams, Slack, WhatsApp and the rest). Every active account holds a seat, including an invitation that hasn’t been accepted yet. Administrators assign and remove people in the console (Settings → Users); removing someone frees their seat immediately, and seats follow people, not devices. Starter carries 5 seats, Team 15, Enterprise 30 — extendable to 100 in packs of five — and the Custom tier is shaped per organisation.
Usage is not meteredNever. Questions, documents, sources and channels carry no meter on any plan. Ask all month, connect everything, index everything: the invoice changes only when you change the plan or the seat count yourself, subject to fair, normal business use.
Documents, sources, channelsNever limited. The size of your knowledge base is shown on your account page as information, and no plan caps it.

Where you see the seats

Three places, always in agreement: the Plan & seats page of your deployment's console, your account page at naxistechnologies.com, and the plan card you bought on the pricing page. Each shows the same live figures: seats included, and seats in use.

When the plan fills up

There is no surprise moment: the console shows seats in use next to seats included, and your account overview mirrors it. When every seat is taken, nothing changes for the people already on board.

What happens when every seat is taken

Everyone keeps workingNobody is removed, nothing slows, nothing is deleted. Every person already on a seat keeps asking and answering exactly as before.
Adding one more asks firstCreating or re-activating a user past the seat count is politely declined in the console with a note to raise the plan. Invitations already accepted keep their seats.
Growing is one clickA bigger plan — or five more Enterprise seats — is applied from your account page and reaches the deployment within minutes. Nothing reinstalls, nothing is interrupted.

Managing seats day to day

  1. Review who has a seat. The console's Users page lists every account with its status; people who have left the company can be disabled in one click, freeing their seat immediately.
  2. Grow when you hire. Plan & billing on your account page changes the plan or the seat count in place: the change reaches the deployment within minutes, no reinstall, nothing interrupted. The plans are here.

More than 100 people, or special terms? Request a quote: the Custom tier is shaped per organisation and carries no seat cap at all.
